Monster Frost by Diablo Nutrients

For those of you who haven’t been following my weekly growth report on Instagram, over the last few weeks, we have been testing Monster Frost by Diablo Nutrients and monitoring the growth we’ve experienced on our two clones, Dread Bread and Sour Diesel.

As you may not already know, some “cannabis” nutrient companies are originally formulated for other plants, with just some small tweaks made to their formula to cater to cannabis. That’s not the case with Diablo Nutrients! Diablo’s products were developed by cannabis plant researchers, specifically formulated for use on cannabis plants. Not to mention they’re priced very reasonably, as I’m sure you’re as tired of overpaying for nutrients as I am.

At first glance of the directions, Diablo states to use Monster Frost throughout the entire life cycle from the second week of the vegetative growing phase right up until the 2nd last week of flowering. Specifically, this product will broaden your terpene spectrum and increase the level of naturally occurring organic compounds. So, I decided to put that to the test with two clones I had in the vegetative phase, Dread Bread and Sour Diesel.

DAY 1: DIABLO NUTRIENTS MONSTER FROST REVIEW

Over the next coming weeks, I slowly bumped up their dose, depending on each strain’s specific needs, and was extra careful to not overfeed, as this can be detrimental to the plants’ health.

Week 1: DIABLO NUTRIENTS MONSTER FROST REVIEW

After just the first week of use, I could easily tell how much happier the plants were. The leaves were bigger and overall the plants just looked a lot healthier.

Week 2: DIABLO NUTRIENTS MONSTER FROST Review

By the end of week 2 the Dread Bread plant was extremely happy and much fuller, with a ton of new leaf growth. The Sour Diesel stretched out almost doubling in size, but began to yellow slightly in the leaves, so I adjusted the nutrient amount slightly to help with this. I could tell Monster Frost was making my plants very happy and seemed to breathe new life into them.

Week 3: DIABLO NUTRIENTS MONSTER FROST Review

End of week 3 the Dread Bread really started to stretch out and catch up to the growth I had experienced in the Sour Diesel the weeks before. I bumped up the nutrients in the Sour Diesel plant and the leaves have become a nice dark green making the plant much happier now.

WEEK 4: DIABLO NUTRIENTS MONSTER FROST REVIEW

At the end of week 4, the Dread Bread continues to stretch out trying to catch up with the growth on the Sour Diesel, though the Sour Diesel has not stopped stretching. These plants are definitely feeling the full effects of Monster Frost and let me tell you… they are LOVING it! I will definitely continue using this product throughout the entire life cycle of these plants and I’m excited to see the final results come harvest time!

Overall, I’m very happy with my test results thus far, and I’m looking forward to testing out their full line of products. To check out Monster Frost and Diablo Nutrients’ full line of products, you can visit their website at DiabloNutrients.com.

If you are interested in having the Angry Grower review your products please send an email to info@nugl.com with the subject “NUGL Magazine Product Review” and we’d be more than happy to check out what you have to offer!

Angry Grower started growing in a hollowed-out stereo speaker at the early age of 16. The experience of growing his own buds flowered into a love for the cannabis plant and seeded his resentment for society. Over the next 15 years, the Angry Grower was a recluse from civilization but mastered the art of growing cannabis. He quickly advanced from farm hand to trimmer to finally heading multiple greenhouse and commercial grows. Most notably he became the Master Grower of a 2-acre outdoor and 40,000 sq. ft. indoor grow facility in Oregon. He managed a team of 15 while expanding the farm’s operations by more than 30%! He also improved global branding and increased the overall quality and plant yield. In spite of his growing badassery, the staff turned on him and ran him out of Oregon, coining him, the “Angry Grower”. Finding his way to NUGL he now answers grow questions for NUGL’s growing community.
